Cell Phone Use: Teens Average 50 texts per day, Adults 10 texts per day

September 2, 2010

According to Pew Research Center – Teens text more often than adults do.  Well that isn’t really much of a surprise however adults – those who text – are catching up.  Pew says there has been an increase from 2009 to 2010 of adults who text at all as well as the number of “heavy texters”.  And adults who text alot (over 50 texts per day) also call alot, while those who don’t text alot (less than 10 texts per day), also don’t make voice call all that often either.

Either way, voice or texting, both technologies appear to be here to stay.  And if you are looking to your client or customer of the future – they will be doing both.   Click here for the full article.
